Grupo de Teleinformática e Automação - GTA/UFRJ

We are an academic and scientific group of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro of the Electronics and Computer Engineering department. Our expertise include the fields of Electronics, Computer Science and Telecommunications. We have ongoing researches in Computer Networks, Virtualization, Network Security, Machine Learning, Stream Processing, and Blockchain.

GTA is created!

The GTA journey starts by consolidating the area of Telecommunications and Teleinformatics in UFRJ.

2/2006
D.D age begins!

A milestone for the GTA group!

11/2016
INCT Future of the Internet starts!

The embryo idea of Catraca is originated by researching Machine Learning and Stream Processing algorithms for traffic analysis and classification.

8/2017
Catraca is released!

We release Catraca as an open source software, introducing it for the first time in the Brazilian Symposium SBSeg'17.
