November 12-14, 2014 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Wireless Days 2014 program will be split into the following six conference tracks:
Mobile communication has experienced an explosive growth in t, he last twenty years. New technologies such as vehicular communications have emerged, promising to interconnect us even when moving at high speeds. Yet, several challenges have to be addressed before providing high performance, reliable, scalable, and secure communication. At the same time, the delay tolerant network paradigm is experiencing a second youth after deep space communication thanks to its application to new highly mobile networks (vehicular networks, but also cellphone networks, etc.). Clearly, the specificity of these networks in terms of mobility behavior, scenarios, and application requirements make research in vehicular and delay tolerant networks an exciting and demanding application-driven branch of wireless networking.
This track aims to provide an international technical forum to bring together experts from industry and academia from across the world, to discuss and present innovative ideas and the results of ongoing research. We solicit original and unpublished work in the area of vehicular and delay tolerant networks, including but not limited to the following topics:
