Marcelo D. D. Moreira was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on December 26th, 1985. He received an Electronics and Computer Engineering degree and a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2009. Currently, he is a D. Sc. student with GTA Laboratory in COPPE/UFRJ, under the supervision of professor Otto Duarte. His major research interests are in network security, wireless networks and future Internet architectures.
