Born in Natal/RN, Brazil, on August 22th, 1988. Moved to Niterói/RJ in 2006, in order to begin her studies in Telecommunications Engineering.
Graduated in Telecommunications Engineering at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) in 2011. Received her Master degree in Telecommunications Engineering at UFF in 2013, research line on Optical Communications Systems. The research was conducted at Optical Communications Laboratory (LaCOp), where she developed a prototype of a two channel optical multiplexer/demultiplexer for polymer optical fibres, based on interference filters. She is also post-graduated in Computer Networks at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO), concluded in 2013.
Currently she is a doctorate student of the Electrical Engineering Program at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), being a member of the Teleinformatics and Automation Group (GTA) - COPPE / PEE / UFRJ. Her supervisor is Miguel Elias Mitre Campista.
