Received the Electronic Engineer degree from Universidad Autónoma de Occidente of Santiago de Cali (UAO), Colombia in 2009.
Worked with the "Grupo de Investigación en Sistemas de Telemando y Control Distribuido" (GITCoD) during 2010 and 2011 in the area of Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks.
He moved in march 2012 to COPPE/UFRJ in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil to begin his Master in Electrical Engineering with the Grupo de Teleinformática e Automação (GTA).
His major research interests are in the area of Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks, Network Controlled Systems, Smart Grids and Convergent Networks.
