Vitor Borges Coutinho da Silva was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on March 17th, 1990.

Vitor received the Informatics Technician degree from the Federal Center of Technological Education Celso Suckow da Fonseca (CEFET-RJ), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2008.

At the second semester of the same year, he started his undergraduation in Eletronics and Computing Engineering at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

Currently, Vitor is with Grupo de Teleinformática e Automação Laboratory in COPPE/PEE/UFRJ. His research interests are in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs).
